A reddit post detailing the work of a Chinese CAD enthusiast shows images of what are supposedly leaked designs of Nintendo’s Switch 2. The designs, which insofar as a they can be relied upon, do appear pragmatic enough to be legitimate.
The Switch 2, according to this post, appears to be a slimmer, wider handheld console without any visible gimmicks. Whether or not the rendered images are real, the post does include photos of what are, more likely than not, legitimate images of the Switch 2.

While the images revealed make complete sense and, frankly, shouldn’t really surprise anyone given the overwhelming sense of “Yeah, that looks about right” they invoke, the real meat of this development will be seen in how Nintendo reacts.
Many users on Reddit are pointing out that by delaying any reveals for the Switch 2 up to this point, Nintendo were always taking risks with something like this happening. And it begs the question, now that a leak (most likely) has happened, will Nintendo continue as planned, or jump-start a make-shift reveal earlier than planned to account for the definitely unfortunate turn of events?
