Schedule I is all about turning the tedium of running a business into a well-oiled, automated machine that produces pure profit. Here’s how you can take the first step into doing that by hiring a dealer.

First thing’s first, Dodgy Dealing

Dodgy Dealing is the first quest in Schedule I associated with Uncle Nelson that involves hiring a dealer. To get to this point, simply play the game naturally and follow the advice Uncle Nelson gives you. Once you are living in Mrs. Ming’s sweatshop, Dodgy Dealing will unlock.

Completing the Quest is rather straightforward. Simply unlock one (or all) of the customers the quest gives you by looking through your map and traveling (M) to their locations. Once there, give them one free sample of their desired product. In this case, they all want OG Kush.

Unlocking the Dealer

The point of going through all of these steps is to unlock the dealer on the business web. The way it works is simple:

The dealer, just like other customers, is unlocked by working directly with people they know. As you can see from the image above, the dealer in Northtown has certain friends connected to his portion of the web. Getting on good terms with these friends will result in them telling the dealer about you, thus opening up the possibility for a business partnership.

The quest “Dodgy Dealing” represents is the first step in this process. Once completed, you’ll need to meet with the dealer to arrange a deal.

Hiring the Dealer

Once available, you’ll need to visit the dealer in person.

Benji the Dealer

Benji is the first dealer you’ll be able to unlock. As the map will show you once on good terms with one of his friends, he’s situated in the room right next to the first motel room you unlock after your RV explodes.

Come to an agreement with him regarding his pay cut and he’ll be your employee. After that, all that’s left is to assign him customers and give him product to sell. The rest is automated.

To give Benji product, simply talk to him and trade whatever it is you’d like for him to sell. At this particular point in the game, you might consider using jars instead of baggies to package your product, as each one can hold five of any product, resulting in quicker packaging, quicker trading, and less tedium overall.

To assign Benji Customers, simply use your phone and select the “dealer” app. From there, you’ll be able to assign Benji, and any other dealer, their customers to work with.

Once you’ve done that, you can sit back and focus on some gardening while your dealers do all the tedious work of traveling around town to sell product. Just one more step towards full automation.
