It’s happening, ladies and gents. The date is August of 2024, and Escape From Tarkov is about to get a wipe in what has been an extremely long time since any reset.
A number of images released by EFT developers Battlestate Games have been teasing the different pre-wipe events that accompany every wipe. Some Redditors have taken it upon themselves, addicts that they are, to try and cipher the letters in each image to come to a conclusion about when wipe might be.
Take their conclusions with a grain of salt, but some suppose Thursday, August 15th will be the date of the wipe. (We’ll see about that Thursday meme coming to life.)
If wipe were to come before September, that would mark this current wipe as nearly eight months long. For many, that is a couple of months too long.
